Trip Itinerary

Almaty
Day 1-2
Arrive in Almaty, make your own way to the hotel, and check-in. If some of us arrive early, we can also roam around and explore what's nearby our hotel. in the evening we will enjoy a traditional Kazakh dinner at a local restaurant.

Green Bazaar
Day 2-3
Morning: Visit the Green Bazaar, try local delicacies, and shop for souvenirs. Afternoon: Take a local Uber (Yandex go) to explore Kok-Tobe Hill, and ride the cable car for panoramic views of Almaty and visit Ascension Cathedral. Evening: We can relax at a local cafe or tea house.

Charyn Canyon National Park
Day 3-4
Today we will have a day trip to the unique Charyn Canyon, and the pearls of the Tian-Shan mountains - Kolsai and Kaindy lakes. We will depart from Almaty in the morning around 08:00 our local English-speaking guide will pick us up from the accommodation, and take us to several spots with comfortable transport. Note: one-way drive takes approx 3 hr. ✅ Lunch ✅ Transport ✅ Local Guide ✅ Entrance fees

Big Almaty Lake BAL
Day 4-5
Today is an open day, if we are not tired we can all go to Big Almaty Lake to hike around the lake. Big Almaty lake is surrounded by mountains covered with coniferous woods and sits at a height of about two and a half thousand meters above sea level. Another option is to relax and just explore the remaining interesting spots in the city or nearby. Evening: Return to Almaty, and enjoy dinner in the city.

Bishkek
Day 5-6
We will wake up early, check out, and cross the border to Kyrgistan, there are 2 ways to do it, either by plane or by car. We will decide together which way is better for all of us. Hopefully, by late afternoon we are already in Bishkek and checked into our accommodation. in the evening we can dine at a local Kyrgyz restaurant and try traditional dishes like Plov or Lagman. Crossing border: By car: 4 Hours drive, passing Korday/Ak-Zhol border check By plane: 50 minutes flight, from Almaty Intl. Airport to Manas Intl. Airport Please note that flight or transportation to Kyrgistan and Visa fees are not included in the price.

Chong-Kemin National Park
Day 6-7
Today we escape the bustle of the capital and explore rivers, lakes, and rolling mountain ranges. We will get access to rugged, untouched hidden landscapes while enjoying our private full-day horseback riding excursion in Chon-Kemin National Park. Include a visit to the ancient minaret known as Burana Tower, plus a traditional Kyrgyz lunch with a local family.

Osh Bazaar
Day 7-8
Morning: Visit Osh Bazaar, experience the vibrant market atmosphere, shop for local goods. Afternoon: Explore the State History Museum and the surrounding area. Evening: we can go to a restaurant in town and enjoy a farewell dinner in Bishkek before our flight the next day. See you another time!
