About myself: My name is Kriszti, born and grew up in this area of Ontario, Canada of parents who were British and European immigrants who were travel obsessed. My parents love to travel frequently to their home countries annually, taking us kids along, also driving across the USA down to Florida for our yearly spring break from school, but every summer we went camping all around this area almost every weekend, as a family of seven people we were always travelling somewhere, so I Iearned early in life how to plan, prepare and organize small groups of people for travel. I also was a girl guide / scout for many years and then became a camp counsellor for young children as a teenager, so this was all great training to be an outdoor group tour leader. I continue to travel frequently globally in my adult years, I blame my parents for my travel addiction, to want to always go, go, go and I believe I was a world explorer in a past life because I'm always looking for a new adventure. I have also a career in Tourism and many years experience planning & leading group trips for 1-100 people at a time globally. I enjoy planning outdoor group tours to the south in winter and outdoor trips to Britain and Europe in the Springtime. I'm a firm believer in living a healthy lifestyle and by choosing wellness travel and going to the outdoors on your holiday time, it relaxes and revitalizes your mind, body and soul, so that you can return home refreshed and ready to take on daily life again. Being a travel host in my home country during the summer months, being outdoors and showing visitors Canada's natural beauty is a great pleasure for me.

Kingston

Day 1-2
This morning we will travel by train for two hours from Toronto, along scenic Lake Ontario to Historic Charming Kingston, Ontario, Canada's main place of many historic events, but also a very beautiful nature place to cruise on an old majestic river steam boat among what we call the Thousands Islands Region. When we first arrive in Kingston late morning, we will go by transfer to briefly check-in to our hotel and leave our luggage. Afterwards, we go to see the famous Fort Henry overlooking the water & have a scenic lunch. Afterwards a trolley bus tour around the town for a historic tour of the first English speaking capital city and late afternoon we will board the Queen steamboat for our scenic 3-hour sunset cruise among the islands with a delicious dinner included. Late evening is open to seeing any available local entertainment or just retiring back at our historic hotel.

Presqu'ile Provincial Park

Day 2-3
This morning, after our included breakfast at the hotel, we will have a comfortable coach van or bus transfer along scenic Lake Ontario to the nature park Presqu'ile Provincial Park on the lake. We will spend approximately six hours here, with many nature activity options for you to choose from today. Walking or hiking through natural trails or ones with comfortable wooden boardwalks, nature and historical talks at the nature centre and lighthouse, beach time to relax or swim and beach activities. There is a café there for lunch and really good ice cream. On the way back east to Toronto, a stop at the local farm to buy some fresh food if you like? A stop for dinner at a restaurant before retiring at our new hotel tonight.
3

Balsam Lake Provincial Park

Day 3-4
This morning, after our included breakfast at the hotel, we will have a comfortable coach van or bus transfer us to a local Organic Farm for nature talks and delicious berry picking. After lunch, we go to the nature park Balsam Lake Provincial Park. We will spend approximately 5 hours here with nature activity options for you to choose from today. Walking or hiking through natural trails, nature & historical talks at the nature centre, beach time to relax or swim, enjoy beach activities, with option to rent water sports equipment. There is a café there for lunch. On the way back to Toronto, a stop for dinner at a restaurant before retiring at our new hotel tonight.

Grand River

Day 4-5
This morning, after our included breakfast at the hotel, we will have a comfortable coach transfer to Grand River in Brantford and Paris, Ontario. First, when we arrive, we will be fitted with life jackets, choose our water craft and have a water craft orientation with them. Then get into our chosen water crafts and head down the scenic, lazy river, among the lush nature, for approximately three hours, enjoying the natural scenery. It's not rough, and safe for all ages and mobilities, as long as you can paddle, but there are water craft for sharing also, for those who prefer to let a friend steer the boat. We will bring a picnic lunch from the hotel, to enjoy at a small beach stop along the river. Afterwards we will visit the historic, quaint, famous TV and movie town of Paris. We will have time for dinner at a local restaurant before travelling a bit further west in Ontario and retiring at our new accommodation. We will be camping for the next three nights by Lake Erie unless the weather is bad, and we will be staying in a local hotel.
5

Port Stanley

Day 5-7
For the next two days, we will enjoy our camping experience and relax on the beach by Lake Erie and all the activities offered. Meet some animals and slide down some huge sand dunes. We will go into town when we like, this evening and or tomorrow to explore this historic, charming town. We will pick up supplies for cooking an authentic Canadian camping dinner. Our last night we will eat dinner in town or enjoy another cook out, the group's choice?

Toronto

Day 7-8
On the last day 8, we will head back to Toronto for your departure or arrange with you another night at extra cost hotel at your chosen location. 7 nights hotels are included in the price, so you can use the 7th night as your 1st pre trip night in Toronto because you must be here the day before, as we take the train early morning on Day 1. Or you can use your extra night as your post trip night, on the 8th day/night, when we return to the city. It's your choice, we will arrange with you before you arrive to these reservations. Transportation is not included on your pre-trip arrival day, before Day 1 going to Kingston, because everyone will be different from where they arrive. I will help arrange this with you in advance. Also on the last day, the transportation is only included from Port Stanley to a drop-off place upon return to the city, such as the airport or a Toronto train/bus station close to the highway 401.
