Embark on an exciting journey to Azerbaijan with me, without breaking the bank! Discover its rich culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality while staying budget-savvy throughout the adventure. Explore ancient cities, sample local cuisine, and create lasting memories with me! We will meet in Baku and explore the capital before renting a car and going on a fun roadtrip together! To join this adventure, you have to be open-minded, adventurous and not picky about accommodation. I am also looking for 1-2 TripMates who have an international drivers license and would like to drive our car - please let me know if you would like to do that :) This way, we can stop wherever we see something interesting and are flexible to explore on our own. The costs of the car will be split between us and depends on the number of TripMates.

Baku

Day 1-2

Day of arrival! We will meet at our hotel in Baku, all details will be discussed beforehand in our WhatsApp group. In the evening, we can have a traditional dinner together and get to know each other!

Baku

Day 2-3

Sightseeing day! After breakfast, we will head out to discover what this city has to offer! We will explore the Old City's ancient charm, visit the Flame Towers, and of course also try the Azerbaijani cuisine. If there is anything specific you would like to see, just let me know beforehand and we can include it in our sightseeing tour.

Gobustan

Day 3-4

Get ready for a day of natural wonders and geological marvels! On our first road trip day, we will go to Gobustan, which is the most popular destination for tourists as a day trip. Here, we witness the famous Fire Mountain and experience the wonder of mud volcanoes. We will sleep around this area as we plan to drive further the next day...

Sheki

Day 4-6

Sheki, nestled in the picturesque Caucasus Mountains of Azerbaijan, is a charming city known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and warm hospitality. We will explore the city and shop for some handicrafts to bring back home. There are also lots of historical sights and museums to visit. Of course, we have to eat at a local restaurant in Sheki and you can try "Piti" (meat soup) which is the local famous food of that area. We will spend the night here and drive back to Baku the next day.

Khizi

Day 6-7

We will do a day trip to the famous Candy Mountains! They are also known as the Azerbaijan Grand Canyon and are a surreal natural wonder, featuring vibrant striped rock formations carved by erosion, creating a mesmerizing landscape.

Baku

Day 7

Day of departure! We will have breakfast together at our hotel and say goodbye to each other! If your flight is later today, you can store your luggage at the hotel and explore some more. If you want you can also continue your journey with me to Georgia! :)
