Guided trip
What's special?
special Experience the real indigenous lifestyle
special Connect with nature
special Explore Amazon with locals
The Mehinako people are part of a multilingual, multicultural, multiethnic mosaic from the upper Xingu, encompassing the Uyaiupiuku community. I invite you to experience the native lifestyle by living their routine in their central village. The Xingu Indigenous Park embraces around sixteen indigenous villages, fourteen languages, and a vast cultural and historical scenario that resisted all colonisation efforts. It’s an opportunity for people to discover and adapt to a new development model and relationship with nature and the cosmos. It offers visitors a unique perspective on the forest economy, restoration, and territorial and cultural protection. The Xingu Reserve is the first indigenous territory recognised by the government of Brazil, and the communities recently started to accept non-indigenous visitors. You can support their mission morally and financially or contribute with your best skills. The committee working to defend the Amazon forest always need reinforcement, and you will quickly figure out your unique abilities that can contribute to that. As a reward, I promise you’ll learn valuable life lessons, and you’ll return home thinking about your next visit to this small sample of paradise. Are you ready to change your concepts forever? 🌲💛 PS: The value of this trip contributes to the sustainability of the Mehinako people.

Hey stranger! My name is Ana Terra; I'm 34 and fascinated by the human race. We are so wonderful but simultaneously so complex that I spend a long time trying to understand who we are, our mission on Earth, and what our future holds for us as a society. I still don't know all the answers. But I've decided to take classes with specialists and see what comes next. So, I spent a long time trying to establish contact with the first indigenous reserve in Brazil, and after years, they finally opened their doors to me. Today, I am invited and received by Watatakalu, the female representative of the Indigenous Park committee, and I am learning directly from her. The same person who gave a speech at the COP in France now gives me personal advice. You're more than invited to accompany us on this incredible adventure that will undoubtedly change your life!

We'll live in the village and sleep in traditional indigenous houses made of thatch. Once you decide to accompany me, I'll schedule a video call to give you more details. But in synthesis, you can bring a tent or a hammock to sleep. I can help you with your accommodation and meals before and/or after Canarana. Please, consult me to discuss the options. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!
