Also, visit Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where the first president of Ghana was laid to rest. The place is set in attractive gardens joined by the museum which has photos, artifacts, and insight into Dr. Nkrumah’s life. There is a National Culture Centre as well. It is the largest outdoor art and craft market in West Africa selling traditional crafts. Followed by James Town, Accra's historical neighborhood where history resides. The town is well-known for its lighthouses that were constructed by the British in 1875 as navigational aid for trading vessels. Lastly, walk around the Brazil House, learn more about the seven Afro-Brazilians families who returned to settle in Ghana in 1836. The most familiar name of Brazilian include; De Souza, Palmares, Azumah, Amorin, and others. Dinner and overnight at Hotel. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner Day 3: ACCRA - KUMASI Drive to Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti kingdom. Tour Manhiya palace was the official residence of the Ashanti kings (Asantehene) until 1974. It is now a museum containing treasured items related to the Ashanti kingdom. You will also see Okomfo Sword, the ultimate symbol of Ashanti unity. It marks the spot where the golden stool ‘descended from the sky.’ It has been there for 300 years now, and legend has it said the Ashanti kingdom would collapse was the sword ever removed. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner Day 4:👉 KUMASI In the evening visit the Kumasi Central Market, also known as Kejetia Market. It is the largest open-air market in West Africa where more than 10000 vendors sell their wares. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner Day 5: 👉KUMASI - CAPE COAST Drive to Cape Coast with a stop at the Gold mine town of Obuasi and Assin Manso, the burial site of two famous slaves from the US and Jamaica. Visit the Slave River’ where capture African bathed before being confined into slavery castles waiting for shipment to the Americans and the Caribbean. In the evening, go for a guided tour through the ancient town of Elmina. View the colorful fishing canoes getting ready to go to the sea from another night’s task of fishing. There is an excellent opportunity for photographers. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Meal(s Day 6: Cape Coast Visit the Elmina Castle, a UNESCO world heritage site built in 1482. It was the first European structure built in sub- Saharan Africa. At noon, have a guided tour through cape coast Castle and Castle Museum. The cape coast castle was a departure point for Africans being sent into slavery in the Americas while the castle museum was the home of ‘Door of No Return. Dinner and overnight at Hotel. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner Day 7: 👉CAPE COAST - ACCRA Visit one of the most famous parks in Ghana, Kakum National Park. Take a brief walk through the forest floor. See birds, butterflies, and perhaps capture a variety of mammal species including monkeys and reclusive forest elephants. Continue to the canopy walk, a 1000 foot long and seven- bridge walkway viewing platforms that reach heights of 150 feet above the ground. At noon, back to Accra via the village of Abandze of the home of Louis Armstrong, the famous American Jazz Musician. Day 1-2
DAY 1 Arrival & Welcome Dinner I will pick you up from Kotoka International Airport and check you in to your hotel. At dinner, you will get your first taste of Ghana with authentic local dishes depending on the time of your arrival.

Day 2
DAY 2. It will be a full day tour to the city of Accra. Day 2-3
