🔥Best of UAE: Hikes, Camping, Attractions + Dolphin Watching 🐬 in Oman!

DAY 1. ARRIVAL DAY Hey adventurers! We’ll meet at our accommodation in the afternoon. If you arrive early, don’t worry—I’ll send you a list of things to do. My top tip though? Arrive as early as possible! Our hostel is perfectly situated between the famous “Miami of Dubai” 🏖️ and the luxurious “Monaco of Dubai” 🏙️—so get out there and make the most of it! Once everyone has arrived, we’ll enjoy our first dinner together where we can get to know each other, chat about the upcoming adventures, and even do a little grocery shopping for the road trip. And keep your eyes peeled—you might spot some local penguins here! 🐧✨

DAY 2: DUBAI - SHARJAH - AJMAN - UMM AL QUWAIN - RAK - TOUR 1 Distance: 225 km, Drive time: 3 hours. Get ready for an early start today! We’ve got a big adventure ahead as we drive all the way to Oman to board our cruise boat in the breathtaking region of Musandam. There, you’ll have the incredible opportunity to spot wild dolphins 🐬! Make sure to bring your snorkeling gear to explore the vibrant underwater world, teeming with fish of all kinds. No worries if you don’t have any gear—the cruise team will have snorkeling masks available for rent! After our sea adventure, we’ll head to a famous fish restaurant in the area, where we’ll dine in traditional Omani style, sitting on the floor in a private family cabin. This is a must-try cultural experience! We’ll also grab some extra food for tonight’s dinner. Post-lunch, we’ll journey back to the UAE to visit the country’s highest mountain. Tonight, we’ll set up camp, cook our own dinner, and enjoy the magical sunset from the mountain’s peak. A perfect way to end the day! 🏔️🌅✨

DAY 3: HIKE & THE WORLD’S LONGEST ZIPLINE Good morning! Today, we’re stretching our legs and heading for the UAE’s highest peak: Jebel Jais at 1,934m! 🥾 Hike Details: • Trail Length: 16 km • Duration: 6-7 hours • Type of Trail: Out & Back (loop) • Elevation Gain: 820 m • Difficulty Level: Moderate Since it’s a loop hike, we can carry our camping gear back to the car 🚗 and hike light. The route will lead us to the mountain’s summit, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Arabian Sea. On our way back down, we’ll take a break at Puerto 1484m, the highest restaurant in the UAE —perfect for a little refreshment. For the thrill-seekers out there, it’s time to face the ultimate challenge! We are now at the location of the world’s longest zipline. And when I say long, I mean really long! 😱 If you’re up for it, this is your chance to experience an unforgettable adrenaline rush. ⚠️ Note: The zipline experience is not included in the trip price and must be booked in advance. The regular price is €90.

DUNE BASHING, BBQ & BELLY DANCE SHOW No trip to the UAE is complete without an adrenaline-filled dune-bashing adventure! So today, we’re heading straight to the desert for an action-packed day of Dune Bashing 🚗, Camel Riding 🐪, Sandboarding 🏂, Traditional Belly Dance Show 💃, and more. The best part? We won’t need to worry about dinner as a BBQ feast will be waiting for us at the Bedouin camp. But the day doesn’t end there! Tonight, we’ll sleep under the stars in the heart of the desert. However, don’t expect to doze off straight away – the Sharjah desert comes alive at night! If you’ve got a headlamp, we can take a walk to a special spot and witness a unique “light show” as dune buggies decorated with vibrant lights race across the dunes in convoys 🚜💡.

DAY 4: FOSSIL ROCK HIKE Get ready for another sunrise hike! This time, we’re heading to the stunning UNESCO-protected Fossil Rock ⛰️, also known as the Red Dune. The rich, red sands will take your breath away, and you’ll discover ancient fossils along the trail, reminding us that this very desert was once submerged under the sea! Thousands of years ago, this area was a vital crossroads for trade routes across the Middle East, and now it’s a perfect spot for us to explore a slice of history in the heart of the desert. After our hike, we’ll return to our cozy hostel for some much-needed R&R 🛏️. A proper shower, fresh clothes, and a relaxing afternoon by the seaside await 🏖️. And for those who still have a bit of adventure left in them, I can take you to an iconic location that was featured as Yorktown in the film Star Trek Beyond! It’s incredible to see how they used the real futuristic waterfront and buildings for the film! 😃 🎥

DAY 5: ABU DHABI & CITY TOUR 🚗🏛️ Today, we dive into the wonders of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with a blend of culture, adventure, and Hollywood vibes! Our first stops are two absolute must-see attractions: Ferrari World and the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. We’ll step inside the mosque to capture some unforgettable memories. But to make the day truly special, we’ll embark on a Set-Jetting tour 🎥, visiting famous filming locations: • Fast & Furious 7 (2015): Skyscrapers where an epic car crashes through multiple buildings. • The Misfits (2021), starring Pierce Brosnan: We’ll visit one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, also featured in Fast & Furious 7. • 6 Underground (2019): Explore the iconic museum, as seen in this Netflix action flick with Ryan Reynolds. As the sun sets, we’ll set up camp and spend the night under the stars in the Abu Dhabi area. Get ready for a star-studded day, blending cinema magic with the real-life beauty of Abu Dhabi! ✨

DAY 6: BACK TO DUBAI Enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace before we hit the road one last time, making our way back to Dubai. But don’t worry, the adventure isn’t over yet! We’ll make two final stops to check out some unique gems in the region: • Car Museum: Home to the largest car collection, including some Guinness World Record holders! Perfect for car lovers and anyone fascinated by automotive history. • Salt Lake: A hidden natural beauty in the region that many visitors overlook. It’s a peaceful stop to reflect on the stunning landscapes we’ve explored throughout this trip. As we wrap up our journey, we’ll head to Downtown Dubai to explore the beating heart of the city. 🏙️ This area is home to the world-famous: Burj Khalifa – The tallest building in the world; Dubai Fountain – A breathtaking water show; Dubai Mall, and more. Get dressed in your finest, as we’ll head out for one last night on the town to celebrate the unforgettable memories we’ve made! 🎉✨
