Villa Lugina is the result of an adventure we started in the summer of 2022, with the purchase of a house in a tiny village, Fushe Buall in Albania. We renovated the house with the idea to make it a place for people to write, work and relax. Andrina organized (academic) writing retreats and workations in Albania and North-Macedonia and continues to do so at Villa Lugina. She also runs the Thesis Tribe with online co-workingsessions for students. Ziv gave up his job in The Netherlands. He built the co-workspace, renovated the little truck, takes care of the garden and does a fair bit of cooking for our guests.

Welcome to Villa Lugina in the little valley of Fushe Buall ⛰️🏡 Two twin rooms are available at the renovated main house, both a small bathroom attached. Towels and toiletries are provided. You can let me know in the Q&A section! In the garden you'll find a tiny blue cabin 🦚 with a comfortable double bed and fantastic mountain views. A shared bathroom is available at the main house. You can book this cabin as a duo, or alone (additional fee) Behind the main house a converted little truck provides a cosy stay 🚚 On less than 6m2 you'll find a comfortable double bed, a desk and some storage space. Guests use the shared bathroom facilities at the main house. You can book the van as a duo, or alone (additional fee). All together, Villa Lugina comfortably hosts 4 to 8 people. There is a detached co-work space overseeing the valley.
