Our trip starts from the Chennai Airport (or) Railway Station. On this trip, we will cover the following in Tamilnadu – South India: • The second-largest beach in the world is called “Marina Beach” in Chennai (Madras). • Three of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, such as Kanchipuram, Tiruchirapalli, and Madurai • Three of the UNESCO world heritage sites, such as Mamallapuram, Tanjavur and Darasuram Temples of more than 1000 years old. • One of the oldest dams in the world still in use – Kallanai Dam of more than 1750 years old. • The largest functioning temple complex in the world is called Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. • A beautiful Seventeenth Century Palace is called “Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace” • The Princess of Hills in the Western Ghats is called “Kodaikanal” at an altitude of 2000 meters. • The delicious authentic South Indian foods, especially “Idly, Dosa, Sambhar, Chutney, and Biryani” For a comfortable guided trip, I'm looking for 3 travelers who'd like to join me on this trip! Included: • Airport/Railway Station Pickup and Drop • Entry tickets to all places of visit • Boating at Kodaikanal Lake • Horse riding around Kodaikanal Lake • Cycling around Kodaikanal Lake • Accommodation in 2 or 3-Star Hotels with Breakfast (single room shared by 2 people). Single room could be arranged for a person, with additional costs if preferred. • All the public transportation • Bottled drinking water - 4litres per day • A lot of fun and full support from the Trip Leader • Basic First Aid Kit, Facemasks and Hand Sanitizer Since meticulous planning and organizing the trip takes time and effort, I have added a Trip Leader fee as well as a buffer (just in case there are some unexpected costs). The Whole trip will be travelled by mixed combination of Trains, Cars and Auto Rickshaws to have a true Indian travel experience. You can customize the trip with your places of interests nearby with addition or deletion of places of interests and days (based on that the trip cost will be modified). Chennai
Day 1-3
Day 01 (Chennai): Our First Point of Meeting and Greeting at Chennai Airport or Chennai Central Railway Station and we will proceed to the Hotel. Better to reach Chennai before noon to get refreshed and to proceed for city sightseeing earlier. We will see the Marina Beach, Kabaleeswarar Temple and will try the local foods and market within the available time (if possible museum too depending upon your arrival time). This trip will be covered by Car.

Mahabalipuram
Day 3
Day 02 (Kanchipuram & Mahapalipuram): We could start at 7.00am from Chennai to visit Kanchipuram Temples and post lunch proceeding to Mahabalipuram Temple complex then back to our hotel in Chennai at late evening. This trip will be covered by Car.

Tiruchirappalli
Day 3-5
Day 03 (Trichy): After check out, we start at 4.30am from our hotel to Chennai railway station to catch our 6.00am train to reach Trichy earlier. Upon reaching Trichy and checked in our hotel we will proceed to Sri Rangam Temple and Jambhukeswarar Temple. Post lunch we will proceed to Kallanai Dam, Rock Fort and local market to try the local food then back to our hotel room at late evening. This trip will be covered by Auto Rickshaws.

Thanjavur
Day 5
Day 04 (Tanjavur): From Trichy we start at 8.30am from our hotel to Thanjavur to visit Bhrahadeeswara Temple and surroundings. Post lunch we will proceed to Darasuram Temple and surroundings. At late evening we will back to our hotel room. This trip will be covered by Car.

Madurai
Day 5-6
Day 05 (Madurai): After check out at 6.00am we leave to Trichy railway station to catch our 7.20am train to reach Madurai earlier. Upon reaching Madurai and checked in our hotel, we will proceed to the mesmerizing Meenakshi Amman Temple. Unfortunately Photography, Videos and Mobile phones are strictly not allowed inside this temple hence we need to keep them in our hotel room itself. Except two sanctum sanctorum foreigners are allowed all around the temple inner premises. Outside temple we can take pictures. Post lunch we will proceed to Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace then we will proceed for local sightseeing and food. At late evening we will back to our hotel room. This trip will be covered by Auto Rickshaws.

Kodaikanal
Day 6-7
Day 06 (Kodaikanal): After checking out the hotel room. At morning 7.00am, from Madurai we proceed to Kodaikanal Hills and will reach our hotel at around 10.30am. After refreshment we will proceed for Pillar Rock, Green Valley view, Coaker`s Walk, Lake Area, Shopping and back to hotel room for a complete rest.

Kodaikanal Hill Station
Day 7-8
Day 07 (Kodaikanal): We wake up at our convenience to complete the rest of the nice spots in Kodaikanal including local shopping, food and back to our hotel at our convenience. Please keep in mind that the lake and waterfalls are only for sightseeing and they are not suitable to swim or to take a bath. But the whole Kodaikanal trip will keep you fresh and soothing. So the whole trip will give you an immense sense of Spirituality and Tranquility both.

Chennai
Day 8-9
Day 08 (Chennai): After check out at 9.00am in Kodaikanal, we leave to Madurai railway station to catch our 3.15pm train which will reach Chennai at 9.30pm. After reaching Chennai we will check into our hotel room for a good night sleep. Day 09: (The Next day) Yes Finally it’s time to part away with sweet memories to our homes to meet our near and dear ones who are eagerly waiting to hear our wonderful trip experiences. Hence after the check out at hotel, depending upon your Flight or Train Time, You will be safely dropped at Chennai Airport or at Chennai Railway Station with warmth and best wishes...!!!
