Guided trip
Although they are in two different countries, the cities of Malmo and Copenhagen are easily accessible by train. Since Copenhagen Airport is halfway between both, we will meet in a hotel or Airbnb in Copenhagen, where we will stay for two nights. Hi, my name is Jai, a crazy American living and traveling abroad, who has eaten such weird things as bull penis and testicles, turkey testicles, lamb head (loved the brain), fried tequila worm, ant larvae soup, fried scorpion, a scorpion in a lollipop, and various bugs in Mexico City. My hostel mates also got intrigued by my plate of bugs with a side of cheese and I somehow convinced them to try. They ate all of the worms🙂 You guessed it. One of our stops will be at the Museum of Disgusting Food in Malmo. It will cover how humans have and still eat such revolting food. Why is some food revolting to some and not others? Did you know that some food is actually illegal to take on a plane, even if you check it in, because if the bag breaks, it will ruin everyone's luggage (and passengers on the plane will probably wonder what the smell is)? We will have our own tour of the museum and have our own tasting room. Yes, we will taste some of the most disgusting food to man. But since it's all subjective, maybe you will find something you like after all. Don't worry. We will also eat normal, local food and have beer and brewery tours. To summarise, what is included in this unique trip experience? - Accommodation What is not included: - Food - Transportation - Disgusting Food Museum Admission For everything else, we could either split the cost between us by using the app "Splitwise" and have a unique trip experience in Copenhagen and Malmö. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message, looking forward to hearing any other spots that you could also consider interesting.

Disgusting Food Museum

Day 1
Some food should never end up in a kid's school lunch box. But who knows. Maybe at one time, no one would scoff if a child brought black eggs to school. Test your guts by learning and tasting some of the most disgusting food in history and even now. We will have our own private tour and tasting room.

Copenhagen

Day 1-3
This is where our hotel will be. We will find interesting local food, anarchist city, brewery tours, and beer. Copenhagan also has a nice harbor, where we may be able to jump off and swim. Copenhagan is a very walkable and bike friendly city. So it's great if any tripmates want to ride off the calories they gained from all the weekend food. The national dish of Denmark is stegt flæsk, which is a crispy pork with potatoes and a parsely sauce. Denmark is also home to some interesting pastries and puddings for dessert. We can try to find a restaurant that serves them in Copenhagan.

Freetown Christiania

Day 3
Freetown Christiana is an anarchist dream. But go there with manners. Enjoy the art and stalls of handmade goods. They do sell weed and edibles there (google Pusher Street). I was there once, and I never took out my phone. There were signs of no pictures allowed. It is a former military complex that was taken control of by anarchists. Anything goes, but they also live by their own rules. If they see you as a troublemaker, they will tell you to leave. They do not want trouble with pilice even though sometimes apparently police do go there even if they are not welcome. The most shocking thing for me to see was a sign saying no bulletproof vests. Alrighty then... Interesting to see and for an afternoon walk. If you buy anything here, please do not take it out of Freetown. And for God's sake, don't take it on public transport or to the airport! Neither I nor anyone at JoinMyTrip is responsible for fines, tickets, or worse. This is mostly a look but doesn't touch the aspect of the trip.
