Luxembourg Gardens
Day 4-5
Inspired by the Boboli Gardens in Florence, Luxembourg Gardens (Jardin du Luxembourg) were created by the initiative of Queen Marie de Medici in 1612. These gardens are split between english🇬🇧 and french🇫🇷 gardens separated by a pond and a forest! The garden has 106 statues🗿 throughout the park, the monumental Medici fountain⛲, the Orangerie and the Pavillon Davioud.

Catacombs of Paris
Day 5
"Arrête ! C'est ici l'empire de la mort" carved at the entrance which translate to "Stop! this is the Empire of Death💀". The history of the catacombs started in the 18th century and in 1809, they were opened to the public and have aroused curiosity since. In the late 18th century, major health problems tied to having cemeteries in the city pushed the idea of having underground, easily accessible site. Evacuations of the largest cemetery in Paris, the Saints-Innocents cemetery, started from 1785 to 1787. What's fascinating about this site is the architecture and the layout of the bones on the walls, in the shape of a giant urn and more!
