Guided trip
Do you want to enjoy a great weekend, and see new places in Amsterdam? Together with a nice group of people? Then you just found the right trip! We have a full program with local hotspots in the beautiful neighborhoods in and around the city center. Think: brunch, biking to the park, market, beer tasting, art gallery, afternoon aperitivo, tasting typical Dutch food, dinner, cocktails, perhaps a little dance? I try to show you as much as possible :) By biking from A to B you get see a lot of the city's highlights. πŸ’³ What's included? - Accommodation in a hotel (8,8 rated on Booking) - Bikes - Typical Dutch delicacy Additional costs: - Personal expenses for food & drinks - Optional: a visit to a museum or filmhouse. Amsterdam is in general a very pricey city. It is hard to find an affordable hotel in a good area with rooms that have enough space and some privacy by single beds (instead of bunk beds or capsules). But I found one! Super happy with the hotel we have πŸ‘‡ 🏨 About the accommodation: (Actually one of my fav places in town for having drinks in the rooftop bar) The hotel has a top location, it's situated in one of my old neighborhoods, the beautiful East-part. 2 km away is Leidseplein (a famous party area), 3 km away is the Museum district. It is a perfect combo between living in a local area, and being close to the other parts of the city. BTW, Amsterdam is relatively small for a metropole, so on our bikes we will get around the city easily and quickly. Our hotel has a rooftop bar with a view overlooking the entire city, bar, club, restaurant AND mini-spa on the roof, with hot tubs and sauna, opened daily 7h till 23h, and FREE for us! Check out the pictures on top of the page. The rooms are modern and spacious, 29m2. We have 2 rooms with 2 single beds and 1 queen-size bed, for 3 persons. So everybody has their own bed (two of you are lucky with a queen-size bed for themselves ;)) πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ About me: I'm Marleen, 31 y/o, I am from the Netherlands, and I traveled & worked abroad for 3 years, I sailed from Portugal to the Canary Islands where I lived for a while for surfing and then I stranded in Italy for… amore! I live in the beautiful Italian Riviera; Liguria. Here my partner and I run a shuttle service for mountain biking. IG: marleenstoop Amsterdam was my beloved home for 10 years. The city is really my second home and I am so excited to show you around and to let you experience the same great atmosphere and feeling it gave and gives me! Feel free to ask a question or to DM me. Amsterdam

Day 1-2
After everyone's arrival, we gather for a nice lunch in the local area 'De Pijp'. (I will help you with getting there! To get from the airport to the city, you can take a train which takes just 14 mins.) In this area we can visit a famous and typical Dutch market. Optional: see one of the city's highlights: The Rijksmuseum. We can head over to the hotel, where our rooms will be ready at 4 pm. We can enjoy a beer tasting at a beer brewery. Or stroll around the city. Up to the group! We pick up our bikes at the hotel / close by rental point. After freshening up, we go out for our first dinner in Amsterdam-Oost. On Friday night we have endless options in Amsterdam, going to a bar, dancing, concert, relaxing, dipping in the hot tubs, and anyhow, at the end of the night, falling down in our comfy beds. (in the photos above, you can see the hotel and rooms)

Amsterdam

Day 2-3
We start our Saturday with a nice breakfast (or brunch;-) in a cool place close to the hotel. From here we take our bikes and ride through the beautiful area of Oost. We make our way to the Vondelpark, the most famous park in Amsterdam. Depending on the weather and our moods, we have a walk in the park and surrounding neighborhoods, or visit a museum (Moco - where Banksy is shown), or art gallery. Lunch break. I will come up with some different options for you. In the afternoon I show you the area of the "Westerpark", which has some cool bars and outdoor terraces. When we are ready, we go back to the hotel, you can enjoy the mini spa, and we make ourselves ready for dinner. For our second dinner, I know some great local hotspot restaurants, and we can decide together.

Day 3
On Sunday morning we will visit "De Jordaan" area and "De Negen Straatjes", both close to Amsterdam Central Station. For our last breakfast, I would like to offer a Dutch breakfast :) I will show you around the characteristic canals of the city and the best shopping area "De Negen Straatjes", with lots of boutique shops. We can try the best Dutch pie of the city. In this area we also pass by one of the city's highlights: The Anne Frank house. Optional to go in and have a visit. Depending on everyone's flight schedule we make the most out of the morning and afternoon!
