Guided trip
Join us and discover the traditions and the wilderness of the Danube Delta! We wholeheartedly recommend a getaway in the Danube Delta! You will see colonies of birds, mysteriously winding canals, boats over which time has passed more or less mercifully! You'll meet open-minded locals, sunburned and wind-burnt, but always ready to offer you a walk on the lakes or a fishbowl right in their backyard! From place to place, you will be surprised by a fisherman hiding in the shade of the reeds. Or an adobe house covered with reeds, just like in the stories of the grandparents. Or a cormorant fishing through the water exactly where you want to swim. Superb! I am expecting this trip to be a life experience for me and for everyone that will join, we will share memories forever, and hopefully we will become friends for life and enjoy even more trips together. The price includes: - Accommodation (private rooms, 6 persons/ shared for couples only 12 persons) in a Traditional village Bed & Breakfast - 3-Day trip in the amazing Danube Delta filled with local food, traditional customs and local band (private mini-concert), karaoke, game-night - Entrance to Enisala fortress - Capul Dolosman visit - Private boat trip with guide in the Danube Delta - Private Chef (all ingredients and food are BIO from local farmers and fishermen - all fresh) - Trip planning and packing list - Private transport from and to the airport Otopeni/ Constanta - Transport during the trip - 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and dinners - Drinks (water, wine, and traditional local beverages) All other costs for extra activities, flights etc. are not included See you in Romania!

Jurilovca

Day 5
The next day, our private chef will cook breakfast made with local bioproducts from the farm. After breakfast, we will drive you to Enisala where we will visit the Enisala fortress. The fortress, located 2 km far from Enisala locality, on a calcareous hill which rises above Razim and Babadag lakes area, was built in the second half of the 14th century, for military purpose, probably by the Genoese merchants, owners of the Black Sea navigation. It has an irregular polygonal plane which follows the sinuosity of the land; the walls and bastions maintain a 5-10 m height at some points. Integrated during the reign of Mircea the Old in the defense system of Wallachia, the fortress was abandoned in the context of the Turkish domination advance north of the Danube Mouths (end of the 15th century) and as a consequence of the formation of the offshore sandbars which separate the Razim Lake from the Black Sea. After that we will visit Jurilovca Port and Cape Dolosman. Cape Doloșman is spectacular, because it does not offer a perspective of nearly 300 degrees, and we can thus admire the surrounding landscape. On 180 degrees we can see the Razim lagoon and the Black Sea, and the other 180 degrees are reserved for the hills of Dobrogea, which cannot be seen in their entirety. Visibility stretches up to 45 kilometers, and on a clear day, the scenery is so spectacular that you can stay there all day, from morning to night, without getting tired of what you see. In the evening we will come back to Sarinasuf where we will serve a traditional soup, and traditional main course made with bio vegetable / meat (we can arrange for a traditional Romanian barbecue if necessary)

Mila 23

Day 5
On Saturday we will drive to Murighiol and from there we will take a private boat tour with a local guide, and we will visit the Danube Delta Starting with Crisan up to Mila 23. Waters guarded by poplars and willows, channels with reeds, areas with yellow water lilies, areas with white water lilies. On Ligheanca lake, if you are lucky, you will see pelicans and white swans, and on the canals cormorants, white egrets, storks, coots and many other birds that you would not have discovered if you were sailing on the Sulina waters. Arriving at Mila 23, in addition to the nearby lakes and canals, you can also visit the only monastery in the delta, the Stipoc Monastery. The villagers of Mila 23 are among the most skilled fishermen in the Danube Delta, the village being famous as a meeting place for fishermen who are looking for authentic fishing parties. The locals are hospitable people of various ethnicities (Lipovian Russians, Ukrainians and Turks), passionate about traditional fishing boats. The traditional cuisine specific to Lipovi Russians preserves from generation to generation the old recipes based on fish, invented by fishermen. The main pontoon is in the center of the village. The village of Mila 23 is famous because of the greatest canoeist of all time – the living legend Ivan Patzaichin, four-time Olympic champion in kayak-canoeing, from Lipovi, born and raised in the village of Mila 23, among the fishing boats. Nice drinks, good talk, good music, and a good night sleep.
