Trip Itinerary

San Costantino
Day 1-2
Thursday June 11: We will meet at Heidelberg Station for people who arrive by train in front of McDonalds. If you are in the surroundings of Heidelberg I could alternatively pick you up so you don't have to carry your camping gear. Then we will head for the Camping Seiser Alm in Völs am Schlern. Arrival time at the Camping site is from 19:00. There we will put up our tents and meet the people arriving on their own and go to buy some food.

Trentino
Day 2-3
Friday June 12: We will start at 09:00 .... which is an hours drive due to mountain roads. I didn't want to compromise with the camping site since this one seems really beautifully located compared to the other ones. We will start the hike where more people can join us who might not stay at the camping site. On the whole hike we will have beautiful views on the surrounding mountains. We will head for Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, then Rifugio Sandro Pertini (refuge), then Platkoffelhütte where we could have lunch. Then on to the Rifugio Sasso Platto a large hut with accommodation - great views to the Plattkofel and the Marmolada! Then on to Comici Hütte. Emilio Comici was an Italian alpinist, his name is immortalized in this beautiful hut. At about 2,200 meters altitude, at the foot of the Langkofel, the place could not be more beautiful for a break. If the rest takes a little longer, it could be due to the good kitchen in the hut. :) Then on to the panoramic view on Langkofelumrundung. And the last station is basket cable car to Toni-Demetz-Hütte Tip: just stay at the station and see how the other guests master the journey. :-) Length: 17,5 km

Villnöß
Day 3-4
Saturday June 13: Magnificent roundtrip starting in .... following the Adolf-Munkel-path to Geisleralm with a unique mountain scenery. Vilnösser Geisler. https://youtu.be/UGbKG3rMhic We will go to .... which is about 30 km from the Camping site. We will follow the forest road parallel to the Vilnöss creek. Then we will go up to the Zanser Alm on 1680 m and will then follow the Zenon creek. Then we'll meet the "Adolf- Munkel-path" which leads along the timber line, crosses hills. Mighty swiss stone pines and fields of alpine roses border the walk with fascinting views into the Norhern tips of the Geisler. Then on to the Geisleralm Hut where we can have lunch. Then on the Munkel-path and back to the parking lot. Length: 14,4 km
