Trip Itinerary

Dolphin Coast
Day 1
Day 1 - Thursday (Get settled in, get to know each other, play games, and go to a bar) You've just landed, and you're exhausted because jet lag is a thing. We have a full stack week planned ahead and this day is for us to get well-acquainted before the adventure begins. The above pictures are where we'll be staying for the entirety of this trip. The estate has a bar, a restaurant, and many more amenities. The house has a total of 5 beds and everyone will have their own bed.

Durban
Day 1-2
Day 2 - Friday (This day is all about sightseeing, exploring the city, and visiting the night scene) 1. We'll go Segway Gliding in the infamous Moses Mabhida stadium. You're welcome to do a bungee jump here if you wish to. Disclaimer: There will be another opportunity to do that later on in the week with a much nicer view. 2. A good old tour bus. I did say I want you to see everything! 3. Florida Road, One of the two trendiest streets in the country, it is rivalled by Long Street in Cape Town. This is where you'll find shopping, the most exquisite food, and an epic night scene.

Umhlanga
Day 2-3
Day 3 - Saturday (Beach hopping, A short trail with the loveliest view, Bar hopping) Weekends in Durban are filled with fun seekers everywhere. This is the absolute worst time to do any active activities as there'll be long queues. This day is all about enjoying the weather and the water.

Dolphin Coast
Day 3-4
Day 4 - Sunday (Markets, Markets, Markets, and other things) Before Markets, we’ll head over to a place called Tree Trails a few kilometres away from my house. There, a little adventure will await us. Now, back to markets… We're actually going to only 2 of them😉. But you can't come to South Africa and not stop by at least one market. They are rooted in our culture and you will love every minute of this experience. The food, the people, the environment! This is where you'll truly get an all-in-one experience. You want a cool South African souvenir? This is where you'll find it. A taste of South African food? You'll be at just the right place! And you're in luck because I know all the best markets. Right, now on to the ‘other things'... We’ll go to a nice beach bar to conclude the weekend. I don't want us to get up to anything crazy at this stage because the following day will be epic!

Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve
Day 4-5
Day 5 - Monday (Hiking, Bungee Jumping, Abseiling, Ziplining, and many more) All the thrill seekers out there, this one is for you! Canyons and rock climbing? Does it get any better than that? Oribi Gorge deserves its own day because of its versatility. There's so much to do there that I don't even know some of the activities they have. Disclaimer: Because there are entirely too many activities for me to be able to cover, I'll set up a budget for that day for everyone, and if you go past it, the rest of the day's activities will come at your own expense.
6
Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve
Day 5-6
Day 6 - Tuesday ( Safari!) I know you've been waiting for this one, I have been too. You are finally going to see a lion up close and personal, exciting! ... or terrifying. Either way, it will be a memory you will get to cherish forever. This will be a half a day experience, inclusive of breakfast and refreshments. It will start at 6 am SAST. Here are some not-so-great news though; because this area is roughly 3 hours away from where we'll be staying, we'll have to be up by at least 2 am to be there by that time. I know this is not ideal and we will all be in agony, me especially since I'll be driving, but I promise you it'll be an experience that will leave an everlasting mark. The drive back will make it even more magical because of how scenic it is. I love that this will give you an opportunity to see where the true beauty of South Africa lies, in the natural landscapes. On our way back, we'll stop, admire, take pictures, and have a good laugh.

Dolphin Coast
Day 6-7
Last Day (Reflection) This day is my favorite. I didn't want to plan too much here because I feared ruining the experience. So this will be a collaborative day... we will all get to choose what we want to do on our final day together - whether it's going on another epic adventure, or simply sitting back and cherishing all that we experienced together. Any final requests (additional places you want to see) could also fit on this day. We will all be the planners here. This will be the conclusion of our epic, never to be forgotten adventure.
