Spend an unforgettable week in Finnish Lapland learning to ski, hunting for northern lights, getting to know local culture while in a company of like-minded people! 7-day Ski Camp for beginners is organized in Levi, Finland and offers a unique and accessible opportunity to learn skiing with a professional instructor. But it's not all about skiing! After an afternoon on the slopes our minibus is going to take us to the next adventure such us northern lights hunting, trip to Rovaniemi, visit to Samiland and Santa Claus village and more! In addition to that we are going to make the best hot chocolate in the world, eat traditional Finnish sausages in the untouched forest of Lapland, go to sauna almost every evening, meet husky and reindeers and spend unforgettable time together by the cozy fireplace. ⛷️SKIING: While it is impossible to explain what skiing feels like, it is certain that with the right learning environment falling in love with skiing is unavoidable. Skiing is very addicting, so the goal of the instructor is to make you an independent and safe skier. Usually, on the second day we already start exploring the ski resort, dedicating most of the time to skiing without an instructor. Through out the week we will spend around 20-25 hours skiing. ✅ Both ski pass and rent of ski equipment are included! You can also rent winter clothes if you are coming from a warmer country. ⭐ACTIVITIES: Ski camp is a holistic experience, that is why on most of the days we will spend the second half of the day exploring Lapland's wonders. The trip includes different planned activities. Through the activites you will learn about the local culture and experience breathtakingly beautiful nature. Planned activities include: 🌌Northern lights hunting 🎅Visit to Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village 🔎Guided tour in Samiland (You will also get a chance to go on husky, reindeer or snowmobile safari, but it is not included in the price.) 🏠ACCOMMODATION: Traditional Finnish cottage, nestled amidst the untouched nature of Lapland is a perfect combination of authenticity and comfort. In our cozy winter cabin, you'll share a bedroom with 1-3 fellow adventurers. Kitchen is available for everyone and fully equiped with everything you might need to prepare your meals. Cottage also has 1-2 bathrooms, a sauna, a washing machine, and a drying cabinet for your clothes. The cottage is close to Levi's centre, so you can always visit supermarket or other services. 🍽️FOOD: Delicious and nutritious breakfast will be made every morning for you to have energy to enjoy skiing. It will include traditional elements of Finnish and Nordic cuisine such as rye bread, different poridges and Karelian pasties. For lunch and dinner you will either have an opportunity to visit authentic local restaurant or cook right at the cottage. Cottage's kitchen has all you might need to cook a delicious meal. Usually we cook together so that we can save money and time. Food is included on some of the planned activities. 🚐TRANSPORTATION: Transfer from Rovaniemi and Kittilä is included. Comfortable minibus with plenty of space for you and your luggage will take us to the slopes and all planned activities. Our cottage will be situated close to Levi's center so you can also reach all the local services independetly. ❓How to get to Lapland? ℹ️The closes airport to Levi is Kittilä, but we also offer transfer from and to Rovaniemi airport since it offers more international flights. These two airports offer direct flights to almost 40 destinations. ℹ️If you are travelling through Helsinki there are 3 different ways to get to Lapland: · Taking a bus (OnniBus) from Helsinki either straight to Levi (14:35 hours; >40€) or to Rovaniemi (from 11:20 to 12:05 hours; >23€) is almost always the cheapest option but it is also the longest and the most uncomfortable. · Travelling by train (VR) is faster, but more expensive than by bus. There are no train stations in Kittilä, so you can either travel to Kolari and then take a bus to Levi or travel to Rovaniemi from where I will pick you up. · Flying is the fastest and most comfortable way of travelling to Lapland. Flights from Helsinki to Kittilä and Rovaniemi are operated by Finnair and Norwegian. AirBaltic offers lowcost flights from Tampere to Kittilä. ℹ️You can ask for more information and tips on getting to Levi by sending me a message.

About me! Hi! My name is Aleks (23) and I am originally from Helsinki, but currently I study in Turku. I am passionate about two things: winter sports and travelling. Last year I organized my first ski trip for my friends and it turned out to be so much fun. After that I started planning trips for backpackers and small groups. I'm always happy to tell you about Finnish culture (even when you did not ask :D)
