Trip Itinerary
1
New York
Day 1-6
The first day we will meet in the afternoon at the JFK international airport (or already at the hostel in Manhattan). Due to the long trip, we will just have a dinner together, and you will be free to rest until the next morning. The second day we will dedicate our time in visiting the city midtown (coming there by the High Line walk) with all its high buildings. If all agree, we can think about reserving the Empire State Building rooftop visit. The third day Lower Manhattan will be our destination: we will visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, we will take a walk in Wall Street, Little Italy and Chinatown, before ending our journey at the Brooklyn Bridge. On the fourth day we will visit the American Museum of Natural History, taking a walk in Central Park. In the afternoon we will take a look at Lincoln Center and we will visit Roosvelt Island, going there by the panoramic cable car. This is optional: for those who might be tired, this day can be the rest day! The last day in New York will be dedicated to see Liberty and Ellis islands... the best way to say goodbye to this city!
2
Philadelphia
Day 6-7
Leaving New York in the morning, we will arrive in Philadelphia before lunch. We can think about leaving the big luggage in custody at the train station until the day after. In the afternoon we will walk in city center, seeing the Independence National Historic Park and the Liberty Bell center. Of course, we can't miss the Rocky Balboa statue, at the Philadelphia Museum of Arts.We will also taste the Philly Cheesesteak, a typical sandwich famous in this town.
3
Washington
Day 7-9
Leaving Philadelphia in the morning, we will reach the US capital around lunch time. In these one day and half, we will see the Arlington National Cemetery, where you can see the graves of John F. Kennedy, his wife and many others famous personalities who are buried here, more a lot of monuments. We will see the White House (from outside of course, lol!) and the amazing National Mall with its huge monuments and its history (remember, that is the place of the Martin Luther King famous speech: "I have a dream"). For those who might be tired, the first afternoon can be used a rest day! On the fourth of July we will also see the allegoric and historic parade, joining the american people on one of their favourite celebrations!

New York
Day 9
Time to say good bye! If you have a flight from Washington DC, you can remain in the city; if you need to go back to New York, that's what I do, so you can join me leaving the american capital in the early morning, to be there not later than 11:30am.
