Come with me on a short foodie trip in warm Spring through Italian inspired cuisine, Mediterranean city-Split! We will go through several different local restaurants to try different food, drink local wines and beverages and have fun!... In changing locations, we will also walk through the Old City and see the deep history behind it!... At the end we will also go to see some beautiful parts of Stobreč, a nearby city old enough as a Split too!

About me: I am Petra, I am 24 years old and I come from Croatia itself!... And that is the general stuff about me, enough of that is said!... On the more interesting part for everyone to know is the fact that I speak several different languages, I absolutely adore (ADORE!) nature and animals, I am a little bit shy at the first glance (until I open up at least), I don't like drinking, nor I smoke (but when I do, I become "A fun drinker") and I have a twin sister with the exact same goal in life as me!... And I only expect the same from my TripMates as wel! :D

Accommodation: I am still not quite sure on the accommodation, but I will try to make secure some private hotel rooms for every one individually or to have an apartment where everyone will have their own room with a shared kitchen... But like I said I am still not sure on the accommodation, so I will try to listen to my TripMates ideas!:) Do you have a question? Ask in the Q&A!

Split

Day 1-2

We will go all day visiting the local restaurants in an Old City area and eating good, local food!... We will also drink some local wines and try some local desserts and fruits!... And, maybe in a free time when moving between the stops(restaurants), we can also visit some "tourists places" on a warm Spring day!... I am rooting for them to be outdoors!

Marjan

Day 2

I putted this here because I remembered from a previously mentioned stop that we can visit Marjan too on the same day! It is outdoors (which is the best for me!) and it will be Spring then, perfectly warm and cozy for a beautiful walk in the nature and a picnic in the woods by the sea!

Stobreč

Day 2-3

For the second day, at the end of it(in the late afternoon/evening) we will go by the bus to Stobreč, one of the minor Roman cities near the Split! Since I lived there for a couple of years back I know its true, hidden beauty and a couple of "local gems" for a "must-visit"- and those will be restaurant "Epetium", restaurant " Lovački rog" and a beach, rocky attraction called "12 Bilih" locally!
