Since my first backpacking trip 10 years ago as a solo traveler, I've fallen in love with backpacking and have traveled to more than 40 countries. I realized that the world is much friendlier, super helpful, and incredibly beautiful than often reported in the daily evening news. That was probably the most important experience for me. The second significant experience was how important social interactions are and how much they can influence the quality of your trip. ‘🇹🇭 Thailand - Central & North Thailand Backpacking Trip 10 days 🍻🏯🌿🐘 Nightlife, Culture, Nature & Fun (Bangkok, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Pai)’, Aug 2024Timo is a true travel expert for Southeast Asia! Anyone who doesn't want to travel alone to this region (and probably beyond) is in good hands with him! 😊 For example, he gave me one or two (secret) tips about Thailand before my departure (regarding luggage content, flight booking, how to get from the airport to the hotel, which SIM card to take, etc.) and answered all my questions thoroughly, so that nothing really stood in the way of a relaxed trip. In this respect, the trip itself was really cool, varied and exciting. We got authentic insights into the cultural and scenic peculiarities of (northern) Thailand and the everyday life of the people there. Timo's trip is not hectic and is also adapted to the needs/wishes of the TripMates, which is what makes it so special!

Timo has the right manner and people skills to bring individuals from all walks of life together, so not only will you experience a great adventure, you'll also enjoy the company of your other trip buddies whilst always having the option to have your own personal time whenever you want (well maybes not on the plane haha). Whatever mood or vibe you are feeling on any day Timo is a natural to adapting to any situation. There are always options and he is flexible to the situation or individual. Timo is a highly organised individual - he really is perfect for this role but it's never serious ... it's stress-free fun, relaxation and Timo brings the energy where it counts. Before the trip started, before I even left my country... Timo was helping me and giving me great advice (he is like your man on the inside). We set up communication with myself and other members of the trip. I reccomend booking your place as soon as you can and taking advantage of this because Timo is more than happy to help your trip run smoothly - before - during and after. On first meeting Timo, it was chilled just like meeting an old friend. It didn't take long and we were all eating, having a laugh and revving up for the adventure ahead. I really appreciate the time and planning Timo put into my trip, it really maximised my time and allowed me to do so much more whilst simultaneosly taking all of the work out of it and just leaving me to enjoy things to the max :-) The whole journey was one positive experience, I loved it - there was never a wasted minute. I could write an article on it but I'll leave it for you to discover yourself. I know you will enjoy your trip! Timo's trips are a wise decision, you will save money booking this way, it takes all the guessing and wrong decisions out of the equation - ultimately saving you time and money. Even after the trip had ended Timo (and his better half Hannah - who you may meet on your trip) helped make my final hours in the country memorable and even got me back to the airport - wonderful.
