About
Hello lovely people 😊 I'm Em and if you ask me what I love, this is it! Half English, half Aussie, and the daughter of a former backpacker—exploring and adventuring is woven into my DNA. I've lived in more than a few countries, but right now I'm based in Italy just off the Amalfi Coast. I've been catching trains and planes solo since I was fifteen, visiting friends around the world, and making new ones. As much as I love solo travel, there's something really special about journeying with other open-minded people long enough to form beautiful connections and learn something new. I like a balanced blend of visiting exciting places and practicing ✨ the art of relaxation ✨ On my trips, you'll always have some downtime to explore on your own terms and I'll be there if you're looking for some advice. Let's wander around together and discover the best hidden gems! I'm a bit of a cheap-flights-wizard, so if you're booking a trip with me feel free to ask me how.

‘Amalfi Coast trip and Ancient Greek Temples with a LOCAL 🇮🇹 Mozzarella, Gelato, Aperitivos by the Sea, and More!’, Oct 20234/5
We had a lovely 4 days! Emily was helpful even before the trip actually started. Once in Salerno she picked me up the next morning to join the group. She showed us the most beautiful spots of her area and also some gems like Agropoli and Paestum - my favorite! We were a small but very diverse group and Emily made everybody feel comfortoble and relaxed. This being Italy, it was not always easy for her to meet everybodies needs as it was end of season and a few places were shut already. Or trains were delayed whicht overthrew our plans. But we all had a great time and parted as friends!

It was my first time with JoinMyTrip and I think it went well. First of all, the Amalfi Coast and the surroundings are sooo beautiful that I think everyone should see it 😅 The people, the food, the weather was all perfect. I was so happy to visit this magical place and see and experience it in person. It was even better to do this trip with Emily and other fellow travellers😊 As I was busy to plan a trip and I also don't like planning things, I think it was perfect for me. Emily did a video phone call with me before booking and we got to know each other a bit and chatted about the trip (which was a really good idea), which made me feel confident that someone was taking care of everything. She organised the trip very well, we had nice accommodation in the old town, she took care of the transport and activities. As she knows the area very well, she showed us the best places, the best restaurants and the best beaches (which might not be so easy if you are alone and new to the area). She also speaks Italian, which is very helpful as most people there don't speak English. Emily always tried to cater to the needs of the group members. She also tried to give a personal touch to our trip, e.g. she brought me a small breakfast because I had an early flight and a small gift, which is very sweet :) We also met her boyfriend Paolo (a great guy) who also gave us some perspective on local traditions and way of life. In my opinion, the Amalfi Coast is a must-see destination. And having someone local to show you these beautiful places was really great experience. I would recommend this trip and Emily as a tripleader. One thing to consider before the trip is to talk to Emily about your expectations and activities you want to do there, and also to get to know your fellow travellers.
