Details about the accommodation: We will be staying in shared accommodation (2 persons per room) in a 3-star hotel or a cozy and nice apartment. Most of the time you will get a private room, this depends on the type of accommodation. We can explore the city at night since accommodations are within the city limit. You will get more than what you expect for sure!

Colombo

Tag 1-2

I will pick you up from Bandaranayake International Airport (CMB) on the first day. Then we can explore Colombo, visiting the bustling markets and iconic landmarks. You'll have time to relax and recover from the journey. We will stay the night in Colombo.

Kandy

Tag 2-4

On the second day, we'll head to the cultural gem of Kandy, where we'll witness the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and immerse ourselves in the scenic beauty of the city. We can enjoy panoramic views from Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue and take a leisurely stroll around Kandy Lake. Get ready for an enriching and exciting experience! On the third day, get ready for a nature-filled adventure as we explore the enchanting Udawatta Kele Sanctuary in Kandy. This lush forest reserve is a haven for wildlife and offers breathtaking hiking trails. We'll immerse ourselves in the serene surroundings, encounter diverse flora and fauna, and enjoy the tranquility of this hidden gem. It's a day to connect with nature and create unforgettable memories. I can invite one of the researchers from Sri Lanka who works on Herps to join us. You will learn about our biodiversity from him. Let's make the most of our time in this beautiful sanctuary! In the evening we can see some breathtaking views from Ranawana temple.

Galle

Tag 4-5

On the fourth day morning, we will go to Galle. We can have some rest at the accommodation and explore Galle Fort and nearby attractions. You can relax on the beach and have a nice bath. On the last day, we will come back to Colombo. On the way, we can see a few more attractions. If you travel back I can drop you off from the Bandaranayake International Airport on the fifth day.
