These 5 things you should definitely have on your trip!
Welcome to the sixth edition of my YouTube show! To all of you who missed the first shows: I’ll be introducing you to 5 travel essentials for a specific type of trip each week. Since we have to settle for short trips, if any, due to the current situation, I thought it’s time to introduce you to travel essentials for your weekend trips! I’m going to show you 5 essentials that are definitely not to be missed. The best part? I’ll pick out products that are currently on sale so you can get some real bargains.
Check it out and I’ll show you 5 travel essentials for your weekend getaways:
Picnic basket
The first of the five travel essentials for your weekend trips is a picnic basket. I know – you could pack your stuff in a regular backpack, but this picnic basket is just something different and will make each of your trips a special event. You can bring both hot and cold drinks and food, as the basket has an insulated part. The contents are meant for 2 people – so perfect for a romantic weekend too! It is easy to transport due to its weight and handle and has a high-quality material. Due to its noble design, you can also consider whether it could be a perfect birthday or wedding gift?
Yoga Mat
A relaxing weekend trip definitely includes a yoga class or two. Therefore, the second of our five travel essentials is a yoga mat. Of course, you are not limited to one sport. This mat is suitable for yoga, as well as for Pilates and other floor activities. The high quality is characterized, among other things, by the orientation lines on the mat itself. So you always know if your hands and feet are in the right position and thus keep your body in a straight line. One feature that is very important to me, for example, is slip resistance. This mat has a wave pattern on the front and back that makes it impossible to slip away. Also, an important aspect that is becoming more and more important in the world we live in Sustainability. Don’t worry, the mat was produced in an environmentally friendly way. We have many yoga trips on offer at JoinMyTrip. So if you love doing yoga on the beach at sunset, or on the high seas, be sure to check them out!
Speakers
To bring a little momentum into your weekend trip, you should definitely think about some speakers. From experience, I can say that the speakers by the brand JBL have a very good sound. They come in many different variations, but I find that the JBL Flip 4 is very far ahead in terms of price-performance. It is a wireless Bluetooth music box that delivers powerful sound. When fully charged, you can theoretically dance the night away, as the box will give you up to 12 hours of high-quality sound. If the color is important to you, you can choose between 6 colors. The waterproof material allows you to take the box with you everywhere. Be it on the beach or on the boat, you have nothing to fear. In addition, it has 2 really cool features; You can activate it with the help of Siri or Google, and simply skip a song you don’t like. It also cancels any Echo.
Monopoly
The fourth of the five travel essentials for your weekend getaways is the game Monopoly. I’m sure most of you know this game because it can destroy the best friendships and families. I thought Quality Time was part of a good weekend trip, so this game can’t be missing either. For those of you who haven’t played the game yet: You will experience so many ups and downs in between! The object is to become the owner of as many streets as possible. With a certain number of houses on the street, you will eventually be able to upgrade to a hotel, which will earn you more money. As you can see, the principle is quite simple, but it’s not without its problems. You can play it with as few as 2 people, so it’s perfect for your trip. For example, if you are on a JoinMyTrip trip, you can of course play it with more people.
A good book
The last of our travel essentials for your weekend trips is a good book. You definitely can’t be without it, as it will pull you into another world and make you forget your everyday stress. “The subtle art of not giving a f***” may sound a little brash at first, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s a New York Times #1 bestseller! It’s hard to describe the content of the book, just this: it helps you define yourself and the generation and society you were born into. The author shows you how to stop trying to get the positive out of everything and become truly happy and better. Just see for yourself!
