The 5 things you should definitely take on your trip!
Welcome to the fifth edition of my YouTube show! To all of you who missed the first shows: I’ll be introducing you to 5 travel essentials for a specific type of trip each week. Of course, the current situation doesn’t allow for too many long haul flights, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be prepared. Everyone, including me, has trouble choosing the right travel essentials for their hand luggage. I’m going to show you 5 items that you should never forget packing. The best part? I’ll pick out products that are currently on sale, so you can make real bargains.
Check it out and I’ll show you 5 travel essentials for your carry-on:
Bluetooth Headphones
Everyone has sat in a crowded plane trying to relax and not hear anything from your snoring neighbor. The first travel essential that should not be missing in your hand luggage are Bluetooth headphones. I personally don’t like in-ear headphones, because the hold inside of your ear doesn’t feel so secure and they are not necessarily good for your hearing. Therefore, I find these perfect. They reduce noise in your environment by up to 90%, which means you won’t hear anything from your snoring neighbor! No matter where in the world you fly to, with up to 40 hours of battery life, you won’t have to worry about your headphones running out. Since some of you are probably working from home right now, they’ll even enhance your home office experience with insanely good sound!
Powerful power bank
Every one of you has sat in a crowded plane and tried to relax and not hear anything from your snoring neighbor. Darkening sleep mask
This travel essential I learned to love in times when it just wouldn’t get dark. I know what it’s like to not get any sleep for days, not because I didn’t want to sleep, but because I couldn’t. That’s probably exactly how you feel on a plane with hundreds of little lights and your neighbor who woke up from his/her deep sleep is now bugging you with the brightness of his/her tablet. I’m talking about a sleep mask. I don’t know if you feel the same way, but with the usual sleep masks, I often feel a slight pressure on my eyes. That can’t happen to you with this one, because it has a “bulge” for your eyes. It is completely dark and, if you are thick-headed like me, you can adjust it to fit you in size. The inside material is also super soft and comfortable on the skin.

Lightweight carry case
Probably the most important travel item when it comes to your carry-on luggage is the carry-on case itself. This one has a 360-degree range of motion, so it’s perfect for any kind of surface! You probably also always have the problem that you’d like to stuff half your luggage into your carry-on. A little tip on the side: every airline allows a different weight for carry-on luggage. If you have a generous airline, then you can take quite a bit with you. This suitcase is perfect for this because the compartments can be expanded again with a zipper. You don’t have to worry about your suitcase either, because this is a hard case and is therefore quite sturdy. So if you need a carry-on suitcase, this is a very good choice.
Entertaining audiobooks
Especially when the space in your hand luggage is very limited, the last travel essential you choose is a thick book. Luckily, we live in an age with the ingenious invention of audiobooks. You no longer need to budget space for heavy books, everything you need is on your smartphone. To be honest, I get tired of listening to music after 3 or 4 hours. That’s when I need the other entertainment. Audible offers you over 200,000 audiobooks and podcasts. A really cool audiobook is the story: “The woman behind the window”. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I will give you a little snippet: a young woman lives alone in her large apartment after some personal problems and is afraid to leave. A neighboring family moves in, and things change. For better or worse, you’ll have to find out for yourself! The book is available for free on Audible. If you haven’t already, you can try Audible for free for 30 days. So what are you waiting for?
