Tip #1 – Mosquito spray!

Make sure to take mosquito spray with you to Thailand because there are plenty of them flying around and ready to bite.

Tip #2 – Thai water festival, Songkran

Songkran is held during mid-April and is one of the best celebrations for adults and children alike in Thailand. It is a nationwide festival for 5 days where the whole country turns into a huge water fight!

Tip #3 – Street food

When in Thailand, munching on street food is a must. The best street food you can have that is very simple, yet amazing is sticky rice with fried meat on a stick!

Tip #4 – Respect Thai culture

Like in any country, they have their own culture that needs to be respected and acknowledged. As a woman, you are not allowed to touch monks, which means: no shaking hands, hugs, anything. You can also get serious jail time for disrespecting the royal family of Thailand, so be aware!

Tip #5 – Visit the temples

Thailand is a country of Buddhists and stunning temples all over. Take a visit to one of the many Thai temples and be blown away.
