9. Boulders Beach – Hang out with penguins
Boulders Beach in South Africa is the ultimate beach for animal (specifically penguin) lovers. This sheltered beach with inlets in between granite boulders has been home to an army of penguins since 1982. Pose with these friendly fellas and enjoy the African sun. ☀️

8. Banff National Park – Canadian dream
Banff National Park in Canada is a must-visit for any nature lover (that’s all of us, right?) The mighty mountains, crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush nature and wildlife are all enough to have our jaws drop to the floor. A must-do in Banff is to take out a red canoe onto the waters, at a cost of $45 CAD an hour and $25 CAD for every additional hour, that’s about 30 euros for every hour and 17 euros for every extra hour.

7. Faroe Islands – Rugged beauty
The Faroe Islands are a part of the Kingdom of Denmark, located between the countries of Norway and Iceland. This island is as if from a dream, where you’ll find small black homes with grass roofs, magnificent oceanside cliffs and green rolling hills stretching out into the distance. A true photographer’s dream, too! The dream-like Mulafossur Waterfall is one must-see on the island, although you’ll be amazed wherever you go.

6. Namib Desert – Creations from sand
The Namib Desert is a truly spectacular sight and an at least once-in-a-lifetime place to visit. One of the eeriest sights in Namib is the Trees of Deadvlei, dead trees sticking out from the sand, forming one of the most beautiful forests in the world. Discover this amazing place while staying at a luxury lodge in the desert, and you can be almost sure to spot some cool wildlife!

5. Jurassic Coast – An English gem

4. Provence – French storybook
The countryside and small villages of the Provence region in France will have you transported back in time.
