Today weāll have a walking tour around the city center! In the morning, breakfast is included and the wellhead to the zĆ³calo, where weāll see the Metropolitan Cathedral which is situated on top of a former Aztec sacred site, weāll go into the Templo mayor museum (tickets included) which used to be the main temple of the Mexica people in their capital city, TenochtitlĆ”n (nowadays, Mexico City). Later weāll stop by the National Museum of Art, which is located in a beautiful neoclassical building and holds a large collection of Mexican art from the mid-sixteenth century to the mid-20th century, and even a temporary exhibition with Monet paintings. Weāll make a stop for lunch (we can recommend you a couple of options with reasonable prices). Later weāll continue our walk to the Palace of Fine Arts, one of the most popular and beautiful spots in the city, then weāll pass through Alameda Central, the oldest public park in the Americas and weāll make our way to the Monument to the Revolution. After that, we can recommend a couple of places for dinner or maybe some drinks, we can get back to the hotel or you can join us on the optional visit to the Lagunilla market. This visit wonāt have an additional cost, but it is optional due to the fact that it might not be for everyone (just a matter of personal taste), but if you decide to come, youāll get to experience a typical Mexican Market (or the way we call them, āTianguisā) where you can find a lot of traditional, and even international, foods and drinks, maybe shop some antiques or just enjoy the folkloric atmosphere.

Bosque de Chapultepec
Day 2-3
Today weāll be taking a ride on the cityās tour bus, heading towards the angel of independence and then weāll take a walk through Paseo de la Reforma, one of the main avenues in the city. After our walk, weāll arrive to the Chapultepec park, which is considered to be the most important ālungā in the city. There weāll go inside the Chapultepec castle, which is located on the top of the Chapultepec hill and therefore has some of the best views of the city. We can make a stop for some lunch or a drink, thereās a lot of nice and affordable places inside the park, and later weāll go to the Anthopology Museum, the largest and most visited Museum in all of Mexico. Later you can decide to stay in the park for a little longer or you can join our next optional activity, which involves watching a lucha libre match. This does require an extra fee of around 17 dollars and a taxi drive to the Arena MĆ©xico, which is the place where weāll see the match. It is a very typical Sunday activity in the city, itās family-friendly and also a lot of fun. (If youād like to join please inform us before de trip so that we can purchase the tickets).
