Trip Itinerary

Maun
Day 1-3
We start our journey in Maun, Botswana, arriving late afternoon. Once settled into our rooms, we will have an early meet and greet dinner. After breakfast, we take a Mokoro trip (a traditional wooden canoe) and wind our way through the veins of the Okavango Delta, stopping over and enjoying a picnic on an island. The evening is reserved for sundowners followed by dinner.

Shakawe
Day 3-6
We depart for Shakawe, a village located in the Northwest corner of Botswana. We will stay in a lodge on the enchanting banks of the Okavango Delta with a trip to the Four Chief Hills, wonder and explore the ancient land of Tsodilo Hills (UNESCO World Heritage Site), with caves dating back thousands of years and over 4500 rock paintings. We also visit the village of Eretsha to experience the traditional way of living, meeting families of the Hambukushu tribe - 'Rainmakers of the Okavango.'

Toteng
Day 6-7
Return to Maun for one night, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing, around the pool or on the viewing deck overlooking the banks of the river and wildlife for a sundowner. There is also local bars and activities to spend the afternoon - more info on booking.

Makgadikgadi Pans
Day 7-8
Travel to the Makgadikgadi Pans, one of the largest salt flats in the world, formerly an enormous lake dried up thousands of years ago. We overnight here and witness the vast emptiness of this unique land form. An enchanting and breath-taking experience awaits...

Kasane
Day 8-10
After breakfast, we move on to Kasane, a 3 hour trip away, arriving in time for lunch at our lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. We will enjoy game drives, pampering sessions and sunset cruises on the Chobe River over the course of the next 2 days.

Victoria Falls
Day 10-12
We cross the border into Zimbabwe (an hours journey) to witness the mighty Victoria Falls, known in the local tongue as “Mosi-oa-Tunya or "The Smoke That Thunders" and enjoy lunch at a restaurant built into the cliff side. On the last day, relax at the hotel, do some gift shopping in the local market or for the more adventurous types, there is bungee jumping, zip-lining, a helicopter flight or river rafting to choose from... Our last dinner together is at the Boma Restaurant, with delectable dishes while partaking in some music with African instruments, dance, sing and socialize with locals and travelers alike.
