G'day! I'm Thomas, but you can call me Tom or Goldy! I'm a fun-loving Aussie, who's keen to show you my favourite parts of the world! Coming on a trip with me, you can expect two things, a well planned trip, and a lot of laughs! Japan is one of my favourite places in the world, and I'm super excited to share my experiences with you and make sure that you see all the best places!

Our accommodations: We will be staying in private Airbnb for this trip. Most will require you to have a room buddy, but we can explore other options if required. In Tokyo, we will be staying in Shinjuku, a part of the city that is great for sightseeing, but also is famous for its izakayas, and bars at Golden Gai. When we visit Mount Fuji, we will be staying in the town of Hakone in a private, traditional house with its own onsen (hot spring)! In Kyoto, we will be staying in a beautiful old style house with a garden. In Osaka, we will be staying a short walk from Dotonbori, so we will have plenty of time for food adventures! You will be getting a perfect overview of the country, seeing its fascinating ancient culture, while getting to see the modern cities and attractions. You'll come back with many fond memories, and even more fun stories! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message, and I'll happily answer it for you.

Travelling with Thomas was a blast! Our group was pretty well mixed but he made sure nobody came short and had the best possible experience, always watching out for each of us. In case there were any problems with airbnbs or transport he took care of it straight away - in general I felt as if I was in good hands with Thomas. It was no problem to change plans or opt out of activities, he was very considerate towards our general mood. Additionally I could ask him literally anything about history, culture or language and always got a good answer. He‘s a smart guy. In general I have to emphasize how respectful he was towards the locals which gave me a feeling that we weren‘t seen as a bunch of dumb tourists because of him. So, if you‘re up for a great trip with this really fun Aussie - go for it!
