Day 1-3
Day 1 🧳Arrival day- arrive and check at any time. Welcome Moment: meet your Group. Your opportunity to meet your guide and fellow travelers, and learn more about your tour. Spots to Explore: ✅ São Jorge Castle Let´s climb up to this Moorish castle for a wander around the impressive grounds on a guided tour, and a great view over Lisbon and Tagus River ✅ Santa Justa Lift Take a ride up 147ft from the lowest to the highest points of Portugal. Sit back and enjoy the views. Explore Lisbon’s past in Alfama, one of the city’s oldest quarters - wander along narrow medieval streets lined with typical tile-covered façades and take a step back in time; the area largely survived the great earthquake of 1755 and still retains much of its original layout. ✅ Visit to Mercado da Ribeira Market (aka Time Out Market) Take a wander through this traditional food market. The stalls selling fresh produce are open between 6 am and 2 pm. 🛏️ Accommodation Below is an example of the hotel we may use in Lisbon. Residencial Florescente (or similar)

Day 3
Day 2: Morning: enjoy a guided Lisbon walking tour and the rest of the day is free for exploration. In the evening enjoy a Fado performance and traditional Portuguese dinner in one of Lisbon's oldest neighborhoods. Opt to take a day trip into the foothills of the surrounding mountains to SINTRA. Get lost in the city's winding streets lined with pastel-coloured houses, palaces, majestic gardens, and lush forests. It doesn't get more postcard-worthy than this (optional- additional cost). Night: Fado Night with Traditional Portuguese Meal. Best Fado in Lisbon! A wonderful little restaurant with, friendly and hospitable staff, the best singers in an authentic little hole-in the wall, and affordable prices!

Batalha Monastery
Day 3-5
Day 3 - Lisbon/Coimbra. Leave Lisbon behind and head north to the small hill town of Batalha, best known for its ornate gothic monastery built to commemorate Portugal's victory in the infamous battle of Aljubarrota. Visit the historic Monastery of Batalha with free time to wander the grounds. Continue to the medieval capital of Portugal, Coimbra. 🚗Transportation: Private Vehicle Settle in and scan the scenery from the convenience of a private vehicle.

University of Coimbra
Day 5
Day 4 📸 Joanina Library Located in Coimbra University, the Joanina Library (Biblioteca Joanina) is a must see and one of the most ornate libraries in the world with it's breathtaking frescoes, intricate carvings and gold-leaf touches. 📸 University of Coimbra VisitCoimbra Portugal's most prestigious university, the University of Coimbra is a must-see landmark. Explore the World Heritage Site as you enter through the Porta Férra, the old entrance to the citadel of Coimbra constructed in the 10th century. Walk through the campus along mosaic cobblestone paths, explore it's botanical gardens and Chapel of S. Miguel, and opt to visit the ornate Joanina Library. 📸 Old Cathedral Coimbra’s first cathedral is called “Old” (“Velha”) because a newer church was made the city’s second cathedral in the 18th century. It dates from 1117 and was designed by Portuguese and French architects. It preserves much of the original Romanesque architecture, which is rather rare in major churches of the time around Portugal and Europe.

Day 6 🚉 Get to Porto early morning by train - 45m ➡️ Half Day Walking Tour - Genuine Porto Visit to the historic and vibrant coastal town of Porto in the morning, and take an orientation walk upon arrival. 📸 Ribeira Square Take some time to walk around this charming square and get in with the local hustle and bustle. 📸Sao Bento Railway Station The blue painted tiles on the inside of São Bento railway station makes it one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. See for yourself. 📸 Porto Cathedral The Porto Cathedral (called Sé do Porto in Portuguese) is a National Monument and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Adorned with high ceilings, an exquisite courtyard and light-filled cloisters, the Sé has held deep religious and cultural significance for the people of Lisbon for centuries.

Day 6 🕘 18h00 (optional) ⛴️ SUNSET DOURO RIVER BOAT Where you can set sail aboard a boat originally used to transport Port wine barrels and admire views of the historic center of Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, and the mouth of the Douro River while cruising through the only city in Europe with 6 bridges. ➡️Full Description Board the original boats used to transport the Port Wine barrels from the Douro Region to Gaia and Porto. The boats have been adapted with the most modern navigation equipment to transport passengers with maximum comfort. Enjoy a journey that stretches from the historic center of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, upstream to Freixo and then downstream toward the mouth of the Douro. Bolhão is more than just the city's favourite fresh produce market. Besides being a place to visit on fine-dining guides, there are many shops to discover outside, with a variety of products. Enjoy! ➡️Rua Santa Catarina Is Porto’s principal shopping street and social hub. Day 8 10.00 - Check-out and time to say goodbye :( Dear friends, It´s never easy to say goodbye. It´s been a pleasure being your travel buddy - such a long journey with such great moments and unique experiences as promised that I´ll never forget.
