Trip Itinerary

Kilimanjaro International Airport
Day 1
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and pick up direct to your hotel in Moshi town, waiting for the next day to going for acclimatization to the one of the highest waterfall in in Moshi village. Around evening you will meet with your guide for briefing on the next day and check all trekking gears and any one missing will be looking forward to rent or to buy a new one.

Materuni Waterfall
Day 1-2
Early in the morning will meet with a guide and driver with a cleaned vehicle in your Hotel ready to start the trip to the highest water fall. Then back to your hotel ready to wait to Kikistart the Kili.

Marangu Gate
Day 2
Early morning pick up you at the hotel direct to Marangu gate, on the way will have a stop at one of the local supermarkets to have snacks and extra things that will be needed for that time, incase you would like. Then continue to the Marangu Gate where you will have the last stop manage before starting trekking, on the gate will have 30 to 40 minutes just for the guide or mange to finish up doing paperwork and registration to the park book. After registration will start trekking through the Marangu entranceway by passing to the mountain forest, where you will have time to see white Colobus Monkeys and beautiful birds. Note: in the mountains forest there's unpredictable rainfall.

Mandara Huts
Day 2-5
Departing from Mandara Hut ( 2,700 m ), we continue through the forest until the trail opens up into the Mooreland. Once we reach Horombo Hut ( 3,720 m ) you will be able to see Kibo and Mawenzi for the first time. At Horombo hut bathrooms are available with running water. After lunch, we will have an acclimatization hike towards Kibo hut and back down to camp where we will enjoy dinner and rest.

Horombo Huts
Day 5-6
Today is an acclimatization day. After breakfast, we will hike towards the Mawenzi Ridge, where we will enjoy epic views of Kibo and Mawenzi. We will enjoy Lunch and then hike back down to camp where we will spend the rest of the day.

Kibo Huts
Day 6
Early wake up, then we begin a gradual climb across the lunar desert also known as the” saddle.” We will camp at the Kibo Huts. After we arrive at camp you will need to sleep and rest as much as possible because at night we will begin the climb to the summit.

Uhuru Peak
Day 6
Very Early wakeup ( midnight), We depart from the camp and begin the climb to the summit. Each pair of climbers will get a personal guide for the entire ascent to monitor their physical and mental conditions. Once we reach Gilman’s Point ( 5,861 m ) we will only have 2 hours left until we reach the summit. After your successful ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m ) - the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and the last point of the climb on the Marangu Route, you will have reached the highest point in all of Africa -- CONGRATULATIONS! From the Summit, we will begin our descent to Kibo Hut and enjoy a warm lunch. After lunch, we will hike down to the Horombo Camp ( 3,730 m ), and later in the evening, we will enjoy our last dinner on the mountain and a well-earned sleep.

Horombo Huts
Day 6
After a warm breakfast, you will head for the park's exit: Marangu Gate (1,860 m). After your descent, the whole group will gather at the hotel where we will present you with your commemorative certificates.

Moshi
Day 6
Hotel Checkout & Departure Flight: Hotel checkout is at 11 am. From there a Majali guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight. Will ask you beautiful time to review the experience you hard with us, Thank you for joining my trip!
